Rhythmic Ice Dancers

Rhythmic Ice Dancers, Copyright © 2008 By Sandra Reid

The colours, shapes and placement of these two very cute fractal skaters represent a contemporary ice dance routine.

As they skate across the ice the soft fabric of their costumes flows around and behind them to create interesting shapes.

Take the fractal art tour:

This is excellent trick photography. How did you know before hand that the skaters will be dulled out?

Welcome Rory

Thanks for the question. I wish I was so clever but this series is not photography but fractal art.

I create my art on a computer and alter maths formulas in order to create the artworks.

If you are interested to know more about how fractal art is created I have written a blog post called "How do I create my art?". You can find the link under categories on the right hand side, just click on the title and it will take you to the blog post.
